Dear patients, friends, and family,
We are have done a phased opening since June 1st and have been testing our procedures. We have prioritized those with acute needs as well as rescheduling those that have been canceled in the past months. We are officially open and would love to take this opportunity to welcome you back and let you know the current procedures before your next appointment.
Patients that come in for an appointment will be required to do the following:
-
Upon arriving for your appointment, please stay in the car and call the office when you have arrived (503-239-5115). This protocol will allow the front office staff to update any necessary information via phone and they will let you into the office when your provider is ready, limiting wait time and proximity to others.
-
Your provider will take your temperature and will complete a questionnaire verifying that you are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
-
Please wear a mask to your appointment.
Additional protocols we have implemented to keep you and our staff safe are:
-
Screening of every staff member daily with a temperature check.
-
Extra sanitization on all surfaces, door knobs, wiping down rooms, and sterilizing equipment.
-
Continued to provide extra PPE for our staff to ensure their safety including masks for all staff and face shields for providers. We have also put up plastic screens around reception and check-out.
-
Installation of a new filtration system in each room to filter the air.
In these times, we need to be most careful with our most vulnerable populations, and everyone helping out will make this most effective. At its core, none of us wants to go to sleep at night wondering if we came in contact with something that could transmit the COVID-19 to our parents, grandparents, or others that we love. That responsibility lies on every single one of us.
So on that note, wash your hands, prepare to wear a mask when you come to the office, and we will have the most sterilized space to provide the same care you have come to expect.
Again, we want to thank all of you for your understanding.
Yours in a healthier tomorrow,
Dr. Wagner and your Wagner Dental Care Team
